Cali Patient-interpreter bill

A proposed California law would create a program making certified medical interpreters available to any patient who does not speak English well. There are already state laws on the books requiring hospitals to "have interpreters available either on site, by telephone or through video monitors, according to the state Department of Managed Health Care, which oversees hospital interpreter systems" reports the LA Times.
